	Three stories about three families live near the old wall around the old city of Xi’an, how they survive, adapt and grow through time under the same sky. By adapting the new tide they are not losing themselves but gaining acceptance of their roots and who they really are and what they really want. “老城墙”代表西安这座古城气质的变迁，本片从市井人物的视角讲述发生在城墙根脚下被“老墙”紧紧牵连着的三家人的故事。影片通过互相交织的三段故事,展现三个家庭在那个时代背景下各自从疏离、隔阂到理解、接受,并逐渐回归自我,找到内心深处那个“家”的故事。
