Sansha Satellite TV is the southernmost satellite TV channel in China. It began broadcasting in 2013. It has studios in Sansha, Haikou, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The signals of the SSTV cover seven domestic provinces, cities, special administrative regions and five countries including Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand and Myanmar. Moreover, it covers a total population of more than 100 million. It is an important platform for countries around the South China Sea to know China.
