China Film Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred as “China Film”)(600977. SS) was co-founded by China Film Group Corporation and seven strategic investors in 2010. On 9 August 2016, China Film got listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s main board and was thus the first state-owned film company to enter the A-share market. China Film operates in six business segments: creation, distribution, screening, technologies, services and innovation. The company produces films and television dramas, manages derivative merchandising and rights licensing; promotes and distributes domestic films and imported films; invests in cinemas and operates cinema circuits; develops film-related technologies, produces and markets film and TV equipment, and provides technical services; and engages in ticketing platforms and financial leasing services.
