In his studio, an ordinary food packaging paper unfolds under his hands—transforming into a stallion with arched neck and tensed muscles. “I once felt like a frog trapped at the bottom of a well,” he murmurs, tracing the unclosed crease on the winged paper frog that symbolizes his metamorphosis, “until these folds became my wings.” Eschewing embellishment, the film mirrors life’s depth through the rebirth of paper: creases carve the stallion’s sinews, angles define wingspan trajectories. The arcade’s electronic hum interweaves with the rustle of folding paper, amplifying quiet rebellion. As the camera freezes on the frog mid-unfurling, the truth crystallizes—the wings of transformation are forged by ordinary hands. |
