| Synopsis 作品介绍 : This visually poetic documentary aims the camera at the offshore aquaculture platform, contrasts the lives of fish in underwater cages and divers with immersive images, and explores bondage, labor and human eternal desire for freedom. The protagonist used to be an engineer. He chose to be a diver to find something different. In the deep sea silence, he touched a moment of liberation, but was still trapped in the mechanical labor cycle. The fish are eager to break through the fence and swim to the sea, and people are trapped in the invisible boundary – they have never seen “outside” life. How can they imagine true freedom? The film uses a metaphorical gaze to ask those “cages” that we take for granted: maybe it’s the system, maybe it’s self-limitation. And freedom may begin with a small imagination of another possibility. 《海止之境》将镜头对准离岸水产养殖平台，以沉浸式的影像对比水下笼中的鱼与潜水工人的生活，探讨束缚、劳动与人类对自由的永恒渴望。 |
