Xinjiang Film Industry Development Base, Chapter of National Film，In 1959, with the approval of the State Council, Tianshan Film Studio was established in Urumqi, on the northwestern border of the motherland. Located at No. 201, Shiqihu Road, Urumqi City, the studio covers an area of more than 100,000 square meters. The studio area features abundant greenery, singing birds and fragrant flowers. It is composed of nine ethnic groups, including Uygur, Han, Kazakh, Hui and Mongolian. Among them, the number of ethnic minority workers accounts for 42% of total workers, and it is known as the “home of ethnic films” in China.
