The film tells the story of Fu Zi, a young and pretty screenwriter in her thirties, who has decided to leave Los Angeles to seek her luck in career and love life back in Beijing. However, most of the men she meets when she tries to get her script published are more interested in her looks than her talents. It also tells about the friendship among her best friends who had grown up together since their childhood. After numerous ups and downs in love life, she reunites with her boyfriend whom she dated back in the US. But on the wedding day, the bridegroom doesn’t show up…
