Established in 1999, the Beijing Jingdu Century Culture Development Co., Ltd., led by President and distinguished Chinese director You Xiaogang, is a top, prestigious TV program production company in China, one of the first eight private-owned companies with the Type-A producing license of TV drama series (License No. 160) issued by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of the People’s Republic of China (SAPPRFT), and also a key import & export enterprise in the cultural Industry of China awarded by seven ministries such as the SAPPRFT, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Culture, and so on.

The first would be the Legend Series brand which is well known for its historical themes, its representative works are listed as The Legend of Xiaozhuang, The Legend of Yang Guifei, The Legend of Xishi, and so on. The second would be the contemporary realistic themed brand, with representative works like Anti-terrorism Special Forces, Me and My Men, Desire, Yearning for a Happy Family, and Dash Forward. The third and last would be the docudrama brand, and its representative works like The Secret History of the Early Qing Dynasty, and so on.
